Rob Mohan is a Cincinnati-based guitarist whose instrumental compositions prioritize expressive freedom over formal technique. After nearly a decade as singer-songwriter Night Owl, releasing four studio albums, he shifted to solo guitar work that communicates through notes rather than words. His debut instrumental album, A Sign of Things to Come (August 2025), features eleven pieces for 6 and 12-string guitar that embrace mystery and emotional resonance. Drawing from the American Primitive Guitar tradition, Mohan uses open tunings and partial capos to create a distinctive voice that treats the guitar as an active participant in each composition.
Porter Fitch

Porter Fitch is a guitarist who draws from modern and traditional sources, American and otherwise. An omnivorous player, he has worked in projects ranging from emotional indie rock, with Brooklyn's King of Nowhere, to angular hardcore, with Idaho-based Ideomotor. His solo record, New Archaic, blends strains of folk tradition with the open-tuning explorations of American Primitive guitar into a distinct and introspective guitar language. He lives in Covington, Kentucky with two badly behaved cats.
